Mobile application
Mobile Field and Production Tracking
A companion application that brings status, alerts, reports and shift-close workflows from an existing production tracking system to mobile.

What this role enables
- 01
Edit site and production-point information.
- 02
Review production reports by day, shift and site.
- 03
Approve or reject photo-supported shift-close records.
- 04
Monitor connection status and alert summaries from a mobile screen.
Institutional context
A mobile extension of the existing system, sharing its business rules and central data rather than presenting a separate production platform.
My contribution
- Adapted existing production workflows for mobile use.
- Connected photo-supported shift submissions with reports and managerial review.
- Organized management actions into role-based mobile interfaces.
Problem
Field teams needed to inspect information on site, attach a photo to a shift record and follow its review without relying on a desktop screen.
Constraints
- Preserve the existing central API and role model.
- Keep site, production point and shift context clear on a small screen.
- Limit offline use to viewing previously cached device and report data; no offline write queue is provided.
- 01Field overview
- 02Photo-supported submission
- 03Manager review
- 04Approve or reject
- 05View alongside the report
Approach
I separated quick field checks and record submission from managerial review and configuration. Reports and photo-supported shift records were connected within the same operational context.
Solution built
I developed status summaries, alert lists, filtered production reports and photo-supported shift-close screens. Manager views add site and production-point editing together with approval and rejection of submitted records.
For management
- Edit site and production-point information.
- Review production reports by day, shift and site.
- Approve or reject photo-supported shift-close records.
- Monitor connection status and alert summaries from a mobile screen.
Institutional impact
The work connects field records and managerial review in one mobile experience. It is an additional access channel for the existing web solution, not a separate product or a claim of measured productivity gains.
Technical scope
- React Native and Expo
- TypeScript and central API integration
- Role-based mobile views
- Photo-supported shift records and review
- Local cache for read-only access
